Dinner with the King

(*)  Question. The fourth man from the left is the King.   Is either the first or second man to the far left the famous Amir Sa'ud ibn Jiluwi? The third man from left looks to me a little like the Caliph of Bahrain, Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who had assumed power in 1942 when his father died.  See pictures of Al Khalifa with my father below.  The problem, for now is that I don't know where the picture was taken.  Tables were unusual for such events in Saudi.  Mac isn't sure is the man I am wondering about is actually the Caliph, though it looks like him, because he doesn't think the King and the Caliph socialized. The pictures might also be in Bahrain, only because the uniform wasn't seen in Arabia at the time.  That said, did the King go to Bahrain?  I don't know.
