2007 - Editor in Chief: ClimateCaucus.net, a registered charity in the State of Virginia with offices in New York at the UN and Virginia. Manages a global network of NGOs that focuses on reducing or eliminating climate change. In 2009 it produced a report to the Secretary General of the United Nations on recommendations for civil society. Staff work as volunteers.

Of the poorest people in the world, about a billion (including some in
America) depend on Animals for a living or for food. If they were to
lose their livestock, these people might starve or be unable to support
their families. To prevent these social disorders and major
stresses on economic development, we sent teams to help people around
the world, including in the United States during Hurricane Katrina and
to Myanmar during Cyclone Nargis.
2005 Retired from US Department of State as the Policy Adviser on Disaster Management after thirty-five years. Honorary member of the Alegat Bedouin tribe of the Sinai. Worked on counter-terrorism, conflict management, peacekeeping and natural disasters. Economic Development was also a major focus, helping nations reduce poverty and hunger, and expanding US exports. Worked directly with rebels in combat zones, hostage situations, smuggling and other crisis management and economic development issues. Winner of Department of State's Superior Honor award.
